This innovative feature allows you to send email from any source such as your favorite web based email system.  And send a message directly to that project, task, or ticket.  A popular use for this feature is to CC emails into your project space.  If you are sending an email to your client in regards to a project ticket, send the email but also CC the ticket email.  A copy of that email will be accessible directly from the ticket details.
